How to Edit Videos & Use AI Tools in Viddeos AI Editor

In this tutorial, we’ll guide you through the editor page, where you can customize and enhance your AI-generated videos.

Inside your Viddeos.AI account, navigate to any video creation tab inside your dashboard.

To start, generate a video from a script. Begin by pasting your script into the text box provided.

Once the script is entered, click Submit to process it. The platform will then generate content based on your script and direct you to a new page where you can review the details.

If everything looks good, click Generate to create the video.

Once generated, you’ll be able to start editing. On the upper right side of the editor, you’ll see an option to switch between Expert and Pro mode.

Pro mode is designed for quick adjustments using simple text commands.

If you want to change how subtitles are displayed, for example, you can type, “Display three words per subtitle”.

Click Generate to apply the update automatically.

The Result:

If you need to replace an image, simply scroll through the scenes, find the one you want to edit, and type in a new description.

For instance, typing “Replace the current image with people watching and celebrating in the streets together” will generate a new image and update the scene accordingly.

The Result:

Switching to Expert mode provides more control over individual elements. The first section you’ll see is the Script tab, where you can make direct changes to the script.

To edit a scene, click Edit Content and modify the text inside the six text boxes, each corresponding to a clip displayed on the right side of the editor.

After making changes, click Save to update the voiceover and script.

You’ll see a notification in the upper right corner confirming that the update was successful.

When finished editing a scene, click Done Editing and repeat the process for other scenes as needed.

If you want to add a new scene or chapter, click Add New Chapter.

Input the additional script, and click Add Chapter to generate a new scene with an appropriate image.

The AI editing features allow you to refine images further.

Click on an image and select the Edit button, which will open a section where you can modify or regenerate the image.

One option is InPaint, which lets you edit specific areas of an image by adjusting the brush size and marking the section you want to change.

If you make a mistake, use the Clear button to remove the selection.

After selecting the area to edit, type in a description of what you want to replace it with—such as changing a flag in an image to the United States flag—and then click Generate to update the image.

The Erase option allows you to remove unwanted objects by highlighting them and generating a clean version of the image.

The Replace tool enables you to swap an object by describing both what you want to replace and what should take its place. For example, you can change a daytime sky to a nighttime scene by entering a new description and clicking Generate.

When satisfied with the result, click Use This Result to apply the changes.

The Media tab lets you replace any clip with a new image or video.

You can upload your own media or browse the Available Stock section, which provides a collection of stock images and videos.

To find something specific, type keywords into the search bar and click Search.

When you find the right image or video, click on it, and the system will update the scene automatically.

AI-generated images can also be created directly in this tab for additional customization.

To enhance your video further, the Presets tab offers effects and transitions that can be applied to clips.

Selecting a transition, such as Real Blur Transition, and clicking Apply Preset will add the effect to your selected slide.

Subtitles can be customized in the Subtitles tab, where a variety of styles are available.

Choosing a style like Matchup will apply it to your video. If you need further customization, the Customize tab allows you to adjust several settings.

You can toggle subtitles on or off, change their position on the screen, and modify the number of words per line.

Additional options include adjusting the font, text weight, size, alignment, style, capitalization, letter spacing, and line height.

Text color can also be changed, along with the option to add an active color that highlights the subtitles as the video plays. If you prefer a background color for subtitles, you can enable or disable that feature as needed.

Stroke color and thickness can be adjusted, and you can add a shadow to the text for better visibility.

In the Style section, you’ll find five different visual styles to choose from. Selecting a Translucent style, for example, will apply a soft overlay effect to your text.

Animation settings can also be adjusted to change how words, sentences, and backgrounds appear.

If you want to create a more dynamic effect, you can toggle the Random Rotation feature to make subtitles rotate slightly as they appear on the screen. This can add a fun, engaging touch, but if you prefer a more traditional look, you can leave the feature turned off.

The Music tab offers a large selection of background tracks to enhance your video.

Music can be filtered by category, making it easier to find the right track.

Clicking the Play button lets you preview a track before adding it to your project.

Once you find a suitable background track, click the + button to apply it to your video.

The volume can also be adjusted to balance the audio with other elements.

In the Voice tab, you can edit the voiceover for your video.

You can choose from different voices and filter them by gender, language, or mood to match the tone of your project.

Clicking the Play button allows you to preview a voice before selecting it.

Once you’ve chosen a voice, click Apply to All Scenes to update the entire video’s voiceover.

Adding a title is simple in the Title section. Just type in your desired title, select a style, and it will appear in your video.

Once all edits are complete, click Save, then Render to finalize your video.

The system will redirect you to the homepage, where your project will be marked as Exporting.

Wait a few minutes, then refresh the page. When the video is ready, click Download to save it to your device.

And that’s it! You’ve successfully customized your video inside the editor.

Now you’re ready to create and share high-quality AI-generated videos with Viddeos.AI!
